 What is Verb:

Definition:

It is a word used for action, occurrence and happening.

وہ لفظ جس میں کسی کام کا کرنا یا ہونا پایا جائے۔ ورب یا فعل کہلاتا ہے۔ 

For Example:

1. She writes an essay.   وہ مضمون لکھ رہی ہے۔ 

2. I was going to Lahore.    میں لاہور جا رہا تھا۔

3. He is paling crickest.  وہ کرکٹ کھیل رہا ہے۔

4. You have drawn a picture.        کیا تم تصویر بنا رہے ہو؟

5. They will make a noise.  وہ سب شور مچا رہے ہیں۔

    There are three verbs of forms as you have already read. In English

•      verb, write, playing, drawn, going, make ان جملوں میں 

    ہوتی ہیں۔forms کی تین verb جیسا کہ آپ پہلے پڑھ چکے ہیں۔ کہ انگریزی میں 

Verb

1. Present First Form

2. Past Second Form.

3. Past Participle Third Form.

Is named. Usually add the present participle when it is verb with the first form of ing

آپ کی معلومات میں اضافے کیلئے چند نکات مزید بیان کیئے جا رہے ہیں۔ 

 

کا نام دیا جاتا ہے۔ عام طور پر  Present Participle  کا اضافے کرتے ہیں تو اسے ing   کی پہلی فارم کے ساتھ  verb جب

  کی چوتھی فارم بھی کہتے ہیں۔verb اسے

ورب کی فارمز کی طویل فہرستیں گزشتہ کتابوں میں دی جا چکی ہیں۔ یہاں آپ کی معلومات کیلئے ورب کی اقسام درج کی جارہی ہیں۔

Verb are further divided into three man kinds.

1. Transitive.

2. Inransitive.

3. Auxiliary or Helping.

1. Transitive Verb. 

A verb is transitive if the action does not stop with the doer, but passes from the doer to an object. 

وہ فعل جس کے بیان کیلئے فاعل اور مفعول کی بھی ضرورت ہو ۔

1. He killed a snake. اس نے سانپ کو مار دیا

2. She is eating an orange.  وہ ایک نارنگی کھا رہی ہے۔

You have flown a kite.   تم پتنگ اڑا رہے ہو۔ 

2.Intransitive Verb.

A verb is intransitive when the action stops with the doer, and does not pass from the doer to an object. 

وہ فعل جس کیلئے فاعل کی ضرورت ہو اور مفعول کی ضرورت محسوس نہ ہو۔ 

For Examples: 

1. We sleep. ہم سور رہے ہیں

2. You go.تم جاؤ 

3. They Play.   وہ کھیل رہے ہیں

3. Auxiliary or Helping verb. 

Auxiliary verbs are those that indicate the mood and timing of another verb.

Auxiliary verbs are those which not only have no meaning in conjunction with the subject, but also require a noun or other verb after them.

مددگار فعل وہ ہوتے ہیں جو کسی دوسرے فعل کے مزاج اوراس کے زمانے کو ظاہر کریں۔

مددگار فعل وہ ہوتے جو صرف فاعل کے ساتھ مل کر کوئی معنی نہیں دیتے بلکہ ان کے بعد بھی کسی اسم یا دوسرے فعل کی ضرورت پڑتی ہے۔ 

1. I can   کیا میں؟

2. I have  میرے پاس 

3. I can go  کیا میں جاؤ؟

4. I have a pen  میر پاس قلم ہے۔ 

Helping verb ar of two Categories. 

(a) is, am, are, was, wre, has, have, had
 (b)  dok does did, will would, shall, should, may, maiht, could, must, ought, to.
